This letter applies to all plumbers, contractors, and/or anybody in the business of installing sanitary sewers in the City of Shelbyville.
When a Shelbyville Public Utilities customer has sewer problems, the resident should first contact the Water Resource Recovery Facility. We will dispatch a crew to check the main sewer line.
The Shelbyville Water Resource Recovery Facility is designed to treat a flow of 8.0 MGD (Million Gallons Day) with a 16.0 MGD peak flow.
